There are interesting bus tours that take to to see the old forts and Paradise Island to see the famous Atlantis Hotel resort and its stunning aquarium.

The nearby Meguma Wilderness Garden, where 300 different flowers bloom in spring is a good option to help you kill time and Wakkanai Park offers some commanding views over the grassy hills, west of the town.
